Traditional Interpretation On Progressivism

March 1, 2011: Happy New Year Veneziano

Today, 1st March, is the festivity of New Year Venzano and I want to remember him with a poem by a poet of the last century, Diego Valeri , dedicated to his city \u200b\u200bpar excellence, Venice, "city of stone and light" .

There is a city of this world,
but so beautiful, but so strange,
game that looks like a mirage or a
profound vision of the heart.

wrapped in a pink veil,
is with its churches palaces gardens
all suspended between two blue,
that of the sea, the sky.

so changeable! Seeing
sunny mornings white
shines pale and tired of rice,
of a closed lumen, as the pearl;

but in red sunsets flaming
is an ark golden, glowing, radiant,
the cruising ship immense
enchanted to distant shores.

When the tips with silver moon high
slender towers and domes filled
veins and winds percent
water dark and sleepy,

not can say what she is,
so much new wonderful thing
sacred island mysterious
infinite realm of fantasy ...

What a dream, vague and lightweight, yet
door a thousand years of history,
and crown of glory
life of a great warrior.
